local people.
local trust.
local momentum.
we're looking for people embedded in their communities — trusted, present, and committed to expanding opportunity where they live. these roles are rooted in local relationships, local context, and real community presence.
three roles.
all markets.
each role depends on trust, consistency, and strong local relationships. part-time or full-time — depending on the market and the person.
birthright builds ventures that expand access to health, capital, and digital opportunity across africa, latin america, the caribbean, and the diaspora. we're looking for someone local who understands the business and community landscape, is trusted where they live, and knows how relationships move within their local context.
this role depends on trust, consistency, and strong local relationships.
- you have experience in partnerships, ecosystem building, or community leadership

- you understand how business actually works in your market — not just in theory
- you're comfortable representing an organisation in rooms and conversations
we support small business owners and entrepreneurs through programmes that help them get ready for growth. we need someone who can be a trusted and consistent point of support for the operators we serve.
you'll support people moving through our programmes, follow up after assessments, help them understand their next steps, and bring what you hear back to the team. you are the human layer of what we do.
- you care deeply about small business owners and community builders
- you're a good listener — people open up to you
- you show up reliably and follow through
- you have experience in community work, support, outreach, or programme coordination
birthright does real work in real places. we need someone who can document it — thoughtfully, honestly, and with a strong visual and editorial sensibility. this is not a social media role. it is a storytelling role rooted in the communities we work in.
you'll capture what's happening on the ground, produce short-form media and editorial assets, and help us communicate the texture of this work to the people who need to understand it.
- you have a background in photography, film, editorial media, or visual production
- you're culturally fluent in your market — you understand what resonates and why
- you think beyond visuals — you understand story, context, and emotional tone
- you can work with minimal direction and bring your own point of view
