before the shoreline changed, weekends in lagos often ended here. beneath raffia shelters and striped umbrellas, families gathered, football matches formed, and the atlantic carried its steady rhythm into the city.
for many lagosians who later crossed oceans, bar beach became more than a place. it became a memory carried from shore to shore.
the waves still arrive.
so do the memories.
